This machine was built by the company Queins. The software was created by us and we conducted the commissioning of the plant. The machine produces submarine cables in the USA.

This is the traversing winder.

This machine wrapps the cable with a shield to keep the electromagnetic interference to a minimum. The company Oceannering in the United States has focused on submarine cables, and supplies specialized companies such as Shell.

Pipe welding machine

These pipe-welding machine is equipped with inverters from different vendors like Siemens, CT and Lenze. The decentralized network structure with Profibus made effective cabling and commissioning possible. Several control panels and operator panels allow optimum operation of the plant.

The flying saw is a technically demanding task. This application is using a Simatic S7 control system. The length measurement is done by laser scanning. This allows for a slip-free measurement of length and thus more a accurate cutting of the desired lengths.
